Clear Specific Cookies in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Other Chromium-Based Browsers

Occasionally, I want to clear cookies for a specific site, usually because the site is misbehaving and I want to start fresh. I’ve had this happen with some financial sites, where I could not log in from one browser, but could from another. Clearing cookies for the site fixed the problem.

In Firefox, it is easy. Go to Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Data. Then search for the site, select it, click Remove Selected, click Save Changes, confirm, and done.

But in Chromium based browsers, it is very hard to find the right place to select and remove cookies for specific sites.

The easiest way is to go to settings and search for -

View permissions and data stored across sites

Then search for the site you want to clear cookies for. Select the site, click the trash can icon, and confirm you want to clear the cookies.
